Mobile App Android - do not show my subtitles

Hello.

Yesterday I subscribed Plex App for Android to watch my videos on my mobile.

Today I found that my subtitles don’t load.

They work perfectly on my smart tv but not on my smartphone.

Do you have any tip to solve this problem?

My guess would be that plex needs to transcode the subtitles on your mobile device and because your dont have a plex pass subscription its not doing it.

I’m sure someone from plex or a ninja can confirm.

I’ve never had this problem.

Yesterday I start using Tailscale and turned on the remote access.

I don’t know if this changes could be related to the problems I’m having:

  • On the smartphone I can’t load the Portuguese subtitles, only some English that I don’t know from where are being used;
  • On the smart tv I watched a movie with symbols on the special characters (and I had to upload the subtitles manually) but I have other movies where the subtitles are working well…

These are two new problems that I never had and I use Plex a lot in the last months.
