Mono pcm track not audible in MKV Nvidia

Having a problem playing back MKV content with mono PCM track using a Nvidia Shield. This is ocurring with all three shields in my home playing back to various different audio configurations, multi channel to straight of thenTV, so it is a consistent issue regardless of playback environment. I don’t have this issue with Roku’s playing back the same content. The only solution is erase all settings in the Shield and go back to factory setup. However, even after doing this Theo problem reverts back to no audio. Really stumped. Any thoughts?
Thanks

I have now established that my problem has to do with the latest Plex build that updates what is loaded on the shield. As soon as the update takes place, I lose playback on mono PCM content. If I go into the app section the shield and undo the update all is well, and I get playback. However, if there is a loss of power in my home or I simply unplug the shield, upon powering up the new version is installed and I lose playback. Has anyone else noticed this issue with the latest Plex release. Any opinion would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

So, you do have a problem with the Plex Android client, not with the Plex server? Just asking because you are here in the server category  Did you try the new release 6.14.1 [1]? I believe it contains a fix.

You are so correct, I am only using the shield as a client. Thanks so much for the information.
