Sync specific media version

Hello Plex team, It would be great if we could sync a specific version of a multi-version media file to the device. Is this a feature that could easily be implemented? With the growing presence of 4K versions, I believe more and more users follow the approach of having a second, lower quality, version of the movie available for remote playing.
