My main Plex Server I share with a bunch of my close friends. The most interaction I get from this is seeing what others are watching, and that’s it for anyone.
What I think would be cool to see:
- Being able to see what ratings others have given
- Community rating based on average of user ratings
- Comment sections (w/ system to reply and like)
- User-made collections
WHY?
Why do we discuss movies with our friends? There’s a stronger appeal to Plex as a platform if there’s a social aspect included. Plus, if I were to stumble upon a random movie, I would probably be interested in what my immediate friends thought about it.
MODERATION?
Obviously, as a host, I should be able to remove comments and limit or revoke users’ privileges. Moderation shouldn’t be too difficult considering I’ve chosen everyone who’s on my server.
