I was thinking that it would be a great addition to Plex if there was an option to enable comments or reviews to be submitted and shared between users of a server. How nice would it be to turn your Plex Media Server into a private mini social network? It would be really cool if on the details page for movies, tv series, artist, and albums there were a space for comments and ratings submitted by users that could be seen by other users. Perhaps this would be something that could be turned on and off for specific users in settings.

This would be a great addition to know if the movie is worth the space, or if something is wrong with it and needs to be ripped again.

Great idea. I would love to see this. If not a full review system, even a “Report a problem” button that will flag a video for server admin to review. That way you can monitor shows that other server members watch but you don’t.

Don’t hold your breath, we are all still waiting for a simple slideshow delay control mechanism long requested by many on this forum. Instead the last release removed the one feature that made the PLEX slideshow feature stand out, which was the ability to switch from shuffle to sequential on the fly, now that’s gone. I don’t know how they think through the changes they make but it doesn’t seem to involve the users needs.

I agree that a rating system among users would be great.
As far as reporting issues with the movies (bad audio, hard coded subs, etc) I use ombi and their reporting tab if there is problems with episodes or movies.
