Wouldn’t it be great if you had an ability to comment each film you have in your library and share your thoughts among the plex user community? I personally think this is a must have feature for plex. Of course the imdb ratings tell you something, but the ability comment and read comments about a film inside the plex application would be extremely great. Of course this feature should be for every content you have in library (tv shows, music etc.).
If this isn’t easy to come by, imdb user comments integration with plex would also be pretty neat feature. (maybe last.fm user comments for music and so forth).

Sounds kinda like Boxee. Recommendations and social features is what they’re all about.
Well my heart is with Plex This quite simple feature would be nice addition all other great features that already exists inside Plex. An ability to add comments and rate content shouldn’t be such a hard job to do (of course it requires some sort of server to keep the comments and ratings)… but I’m still keeping my fingers crossed for this matter.
@Gascal, thanks for the post, and welcome to the forums! We are indeed discussing such features (and more!) for the future, and doing the social integration correctly is very important to us.
PHermas is a moderator on the boxee forums, so I’m unsurprised by his recommendation
At first glance I would think yes this would be a nice feature, but then I think about the not-so-nice comments that people make at IMDB and other review sites and the spoilers… and I don’t know if it would be that nice to include it inside Plex. Perhaps make it an option, but plex devs aren’t fond of options :lol: 
I would love it. I only use Plex for family videos and photos. Having the ability for my family members to leave comments, and possibly have a conversation around a video or photo would be awesome!
