More Poster Customization (Filter/Cycle/Shuffle)

I’ve noticed the sporadic changing of random posters on my library, it would be cool to have the ability to lock posters like with other media fields. [mod-edit: duplicate → Lock Posters]

Additionally, I thought it would be cool to be able to select multiple posters for either telling Plex which posters we “approve” and “reject”, or could have the ability to cycle or “shuffle” between them like streaming services do.

There could even be some settings added like:

  • Choose when to cycle (daily/monthly/when page is refreshed/never)
  • Selection Order (random/custom)

Thank you! It drives me absolutely insane, and if it happens again, it genuinely might be the thing that pushes me to Jellyfin. I’ve worked so hard to avoid lame ass theatre posters with actors names and release dates and crap like that, and yesterday I noticed that there are suddenly hundreds of them in my library, so now I have to spend hours updating them again.
