More 'Status' information >> progress bar please!

I have a massive MP3 library, so Plex can easily bog down my Synology for days when it does a library update and gathers metadata etc. I’d simple like a bit more Status information, like how many files are in the processing queue, and / or a very simple progress meter. At the moment, the pages of Status update top off at 50/50 and then keep going with no end in sight. I have turned off all automatic updates except those relating to folder state changes; anything else I do manually. This seems like it would be quite simple to implement, and I think lots of users would welcome this functionality on all platforms. (I run Plex everywhere, my NAS [for the main media server], then players [or non-serving servers] on Windows, Linux, Fire TV and multiple Android devices).

I will move this to the Feature Requests where it will get more visibility.
My DS1815+ is my primary server as well. I concur it’s sometimes hard to know what’s going on without looking at the logs.

Agreed. Just like when your pms starts doing the thumbnail creation… You hear the fan go like crazy, but no way to know why.
