More than one network connection

I am using two network connections. My standard one and a VPN one. I have my VPN metrics changed to 1. Under Plex I have the preferred network interface set up to go through my VPN one.

I can use remote access in Plex when I go through my default one with my VPN off. Once I turn my VPN and change the preferred connection to my VPN network the Remote Access turns off. How do I get it to work through my VPN network? Even if I do not tell Plex to join through my VPN network and use ANY or my default it does not work.

something here Using Plex Server with a VPN might help. i know Plex can work thur a VPN and properly configured port forwards

I set up a IKEv2. I can run it through a VPN. That is not the question. I set up a IKEv2 to get a way better connection with a VPN. In my post I say this.

I guess you can lock this out. Seems I will not get an answer.
