Nota Bene
- Do a Plex Dance? – Already did, doesn’t fix this issue
- Why not use Bazarr? – My server provider doesn’t support it (yet).
- Why not use another PVR like Sonarr? – Medusa has more essential functionality than Sonarr to me (manual season pack search, embedded Trakt support…).
- Why not using auto-scan? – Doesn’t work on filesystem like I have
Issue
Simple: when I grab multiple episodes of an entire season show (e.g. entire Season 01) with Medusa, once it has processed the files it sends requests to Plex to update its TV library. I end up with either half the episodes scanned, or all scanned but no metadata attached (“Episode X” no real name, no subs grabbed, no synopsis, etc…).
To show that there’s definitely an issue during the library refresh between Plex and PVR, I’ve manually downloaded a whole season from a show, applied the right naming structure, uploaded into my mount drive TV Plex folder and ran a “Scan library files” manually and then worked perfectly (Episodes with real names, adequate subs grabbed by Subzero, synopsis displayed etc…).
How can I fix this annoying issue please?
Thanks in advance.
