Mounted directories not showing up in Browse For Media Folder dialog

Server Version#:1.19.3.2764-ef515a800 running in snap
New install on new equipment. Ubuntu 20:04

I’ve got videos on 2 additional drives - sdc2 mounted as /Images and sdd2 mounted as /Videos
/etc/fstab includes
#basevideos
UUID=4ea0d9fe-ed28-4402-975c-f3b80abc225d /Videos ext4 defaults 0 2

Images - backups

UUID=b834666b-11e6-4a12-9993-cb6eb0dbb347 /Images ext4 defaults 0 2
/dev/sdc2 on /Images type ext4 (rw,relatime)
/dev/sdd2 on /Videos type ext4 (rw,relatime)

The two directories have exorbitant permissions
drwxrwxrwx 53 watsbe watsbe 4096 Mar 25 13:12 Images
drwxrwxrwx 42 watsbe watsbe 28672 Apr 28 07:28 Videos
drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4096 May 9 15:26 media
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 Mar 4 17:33 mnt
drwxr-xr-x 11 root root 4096 May 15 13:02 snap
drwxr-xr-x 14 root root 4096 Mar 4 17:43 var

When I try to add them via “Manage Library” “Add Folders” the two directories don’t show up. The normal directories do.
Plex is working OK for the Videos directory under my home folder.
Is it just the dialog box? Can I manually add the folders into a config file somewhere?

Thanks Chuck. That is an excellent document, but doesn’t exactly match my problem.
However, I tried creating a new directory and restarting and it still didn’t find it, at which stage it dawned on me that snap was probably restricting access. I uninstalled the snap version and did a “proper” install and it is now working fine.
Thanks for your help.
