Move an install to another system

Hi,

I am a French Plex Pass user.

Plex Server is installed on my QNAP NAS and Plex Client on my NVIDIA Shield.

I changed my NAS a short time ago.

To migrate my libraries I followed this tutorial:

https://support.plex.tv/articles/201370363-move-an-install-to-another-system/

So I copied the “Plex Media Server” folder present in “library” of my old NAS which was stopped and while respecting the rules.

I then pasted/replaced it in the same folder of my new NAS

For TV series my list of episodes seen is OK

For movies it didn’t work at all as you can see in the screenshot.

Do you know where I went wrong please?

No particular expertise with QNAP here, but I think you may find this useful: Qnap faq.....read me first! - #5 by ChuckPa

Hi there,

Thanks for your support.

I have already created the archive 2 times on the source NAS.

I’ve extracted it several times on the destination NAS.

Each time my information is correct, but the viewed / unviewed files have not returned.

I think this information is stored elsewhere than in the .qkpg/library/Plex Media Server/ folder.
