Move Plex Media Server from Synology NAS to Ubuntu Server

Hey everyone

Im currently running plex media server on my Synology NAS. I got a laptop laying around with 4 time the power. For this reason, im planning to move plex media server to the laptop with Ubuntu Server 20.04 LTS as the OS. I need some help in this case, maybe someone got the knowledge.

Is it possible to copy the metadata from the NAS to the Ubuntu Server? Which files do i have to copy?
I won’t move the media files, they will stay on the NAS. I guess this works flawlessly with NFS?

Is there someting special i have to pay attention to in the migration?
