Move working Plex Server to a new Drive

Hi guys
I will re install my Mac this weekend on a new drive and I need to move the current install of Plex server (the original HDD will be remove untouched for safe keep until I verify that all work well with the new install)
So my question is if this steps are correct

  1. Install new drive, and install os
  2. install Plex media server last version (same version of the old disk)
  3. attach the old HDD
  4. copy the database, preference files
  5. remove old HDD
  6. reboot

Is this correct ?
Note: all my movies are in separate HDD and not be touch
I will move from macOS HighSierra to macOS Catalina
