When I had PMS on my OSX box, thumbnails for chapters worked. Since moving Shield TV, they no longer generate. All settings are correct. Its been about a year and now I’m going insane that I cannot figure it out. Any ideas? Data is stored on my NAS and the Shield is the PMS. PLEASE HELP!
So… are you missing chapter thumbs from the movies you migrated to the Shield or is it about your new server not creating chapter thumbs for new additions?
I take it you’re referring to the scheduled task Generate chapter thumbnails … not the configuration for video preview thumbnails?
I’d say almost all that were on the previous pms don’t have thumbs and anything new. I’ve tried deleting and then running the task. Tried all different ways for the task and nothing.

Tried removing thumbnails and it wouldn’t delete them. The ones that had it, still did. Feel like permission issue but not sure how to figure it out.
Video preview thumbs are not chapter thumbs.
You can only delete the first.
Have you tried to trigger Analyze for the videos that lost their chapter thumbs?
Yes, tried analyze. Is there somewhere in logging could look for an error or something?
