I have deleted some Movie collection folders; how do I get them back?
Are you talking about the collections themselves, or about folders in your media storage?
The latter would require you to restore a file backup of your media storage that you hopefully have made as a precaution.
Only the former can be fixed in Plex:
- The least work would be to restore a database backup from before you deleted things https://support.plex.tv/articles/202485658-restore-a-database-backed-up-via-scheduled-tasks/
- edit all items which were part of collections and ensure that the orange “lock” icon on the Collection field is not activated. Then Refresh Metadata on them. This should recreate all collections which either came from TheMovieDB, or from embedded metadata in your files.
If these collections however were created manually, there is no other fix than to recreate them manually, if 1) is not possible.
