Movies don’t load or stop and start. Says “Server is not fast enough”… Worked fine the last couple of years. what has changed and how do I fix this?

What type of computer/nas are you using as a plex server?

Type = make/model of NAS, or CPU if using a computer

HP DC7800P Server - CPUI E8600 3.33GHz 4GB memory. 32-bit Win 10, 64-based processor. Movies are on Seagate USB attached 3 and 4GB disk.

3&5TB disk, CPU is 2 Duo-Cpu

Roughly speaking your CPU (2430 passmark) should be able to transcode a single 1080p/8Mbps file assuming the computer isn’t doing anything else.

What are the bitrates of the media your trying to play/transcode?

Computer is dedicated Plex server
bitrate = 192kbps

Next step would be to post the Server log files and the XML of a file that is giving you issues
