When playing this movie Lancaster Skies using Plex for Windows or iOS the aspect ratio seem off and the image does not fill the screen but is rather “squeezed” towards the centre. See image below. This also happens using Plex for iOS.
Watching the same movie on a TV screen however produce a correct image.
It appears to happen on this movie only…

This doesn’t look right. For a video picture consisting of 1920x1080 pixels I’d expect this to be 1:1 (i.e. perfectly square pixels) and nothing else.
I’d recommend re-ripping that one. Or try to send it through Handbrake while forcing the PAR to 1:1.

I’ll re-rip the movie and see what it does. I fear however that it will not help since I rip all my movies the same way. Hence I can’t see that it will be ripped in another way than last time.
I’ll be home on Wednesday and will try then.
You could also try and get a “second opinion” by employing MediaInfo
See what this is showing for PAR.
And then this experiment: drag the file into MKVtoolnixGUI
select the video stream with your mouse,
then scroll downwards on the right pabe until you get to “Video properties”
Set the Aspect Ratio to 16/9.
Then remux the file.
Add it to your server.
Trigger “Analyze”.
See what Plex says now about the PAR.
I was not able to find PAR in MediaInfo, but I tried the remuxing experiment nevertheless and it sure worked 
Now the movie plays nicely on all clients.
