I have a movie that will not show up. I have renamed it multiple times to check every way possilble for naming conventions. It is in the same subdirectory as many other movies, so permissions , drive formatting, etc. are not issues. The movie in the MOVIES folder. MOVIES/Inner Worlds, Outer Worlds (2012)/Inner Worlds, Outer Worlds (2012).mp4
I don’t have any issues with Music, TV Shows, or anything else, but no matter what I have tried, Plex will not add this movie in my library.
Have you checked your file for conflicting embedded metadata?
If your library is configured to prefer embedded/local metadata, this could also impact how the file is being matched.
Can you switch the library to display its content By Folder and navigate to Inner Worlds, Outer Worlds (2012)? Is there any unexpected/different movie listed in that directory (within Plex)?

When I switch to view by folder, I can see the folder, but Plex says it’s empty. When I access the folder from Explorer directly from the PC that has Plex Server installed, I can see the movie, and play it using Windows media player.
