While creating my library, I noticed that I have movies that are missing from the listing in Plex even though they are in the main movie folder. One example is Alexander (2004). It is in it’s own folder named “Name (YYYY)” as shown above and the title of the file is Alexander.theatrical.mp4 The file plays perfectly well in a player. So far, I’ve ripped from DVD and placed 1,086 files into the folder and there are a total of 10 that do not show up. Any Ideas? I’ve tried renaming the file/folder, moving the file, etc. Thanks.

you reaaaaally need to check the accepted folder structure for plex.
Also maybe consider sonarr and radarr (and bazarr if you require subs)
