Movie parts are not played sequentially as numbered

Description: movies with parts are not played sequentially as numbered, played instead based on when parts were added. My Plex server is on Windows. This happens to all player platforms.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Copy “movie pt2.mkv” to a movie folder.
  • Let Plex server scan the movie folder.
  • Copy “movie pt1.mkv” to a movie folder.
  • Let Plex server scan the movie folder.

Expected behavior:

  • Go to Plex player and play “movie”.
  • Plex player plays “movie pt1.mkv”, then “movie pt2.mkv”

Actual behavior:

  • Go to Plex player and play “movie”.
  • Plex player plays “movie pt2.mkv” then “movie pt1.mkv”

Thanks for report. I just want to confirm this is only happening when you add part2 first. If you add part 1 first or both at the same time it plays correctly?
