I mean the actual movie posters pictures for every movie currently in my library,
They were not there a few days ago, but now for every movie in my movie library (the folder where I have all the .mp4, .avi, .mkv movies files) I now also have a file titled 'Movie.name.(year)-poster.jpg.
All of them are in .jpg format and all of them have the same title as their corresponding movie file with ‘-poster.jpg’ at the end.
This is certainly not something I would have switched on.
I’m just wondering why it is happening now?
Why is it only happening for this library? (so far…)
Is this somehow a result of switching to the new Roku App?
If I delete these files will of the cover art disappear from the Roku App?
ok… so the posters have been added to your file system in the same folder as the corresponding movies?
do you have any other software installed on your server to manage your media? just asking as Plex itself won’t download any media or posters to your movie library folder (the posters related to the matching of a movie are stored in Plex’ own internal folder structure).
