I’m having movie posters issue, I have been researching multiple Reddit, Quora, Plex forum threads on this matter, tried multiple solution but nothing has worked for me.
It is not an issue related to name matching, because movie meta data loads perfectly, the only issue that 80% of the time movie posters are just blank, 10% showing and 10% just random snapshot from the movie, I tried changing agents, deleting cache and re syncing and rebooting.
Unfortunately nothing works…
When I click on a specific movie and try to edit the poster it shows me all the posters I may choose for that movie, I do choose one of them and save the changes, but nothing happens…
The only way it works if I upload my own poster or add an url 
as you can see in the second screenshot, in the posters choice menu, there are 4 blanks… because each time I choose a new poster it will turn to blank as well on save
