Attempting to work past the “strobe flashing” of my server screen. :\ I’ve found that about 20 percent of my Movie Posters (metadata - not homemade) have been replaced by images from the movie. The posters are still available to choose, but what the hell?? I don’t find it exciting to spend the hours it’ll take to manually correct this - we’re talking probably 4-to-5 thousand records by hand. I wonder if refreshing the entire library’s metadata will fix it, make it worse, or make no change…
Same thing here, I manually selected the posters (they were there, I did not have to upload them) but PLEX has decided to un link them with the movies.
As I type this a Update popped up for me with this item in it…

So I guess I install this update and wait a few nights for it to “Fix” the movies?
If you were on 8111 and it broke your posters, this 8120 update fixes the problem that caused the issue, but doesn’t appear to fix the posters back. For possible methods to correct this, please refer to this topic (and the post in particular) for a promising sounding solution that will be painless to implement:
