Movie restarting back to beginning after 20 mins of playtime

I have run into an issue that I cannot solve.

The issue:
On certain clients a movie will play for 20 mins (exactly) then restart at the beginning. I have witnessed this on different platforms including Nvidia Shield and Amazon Firestick.

Testing

  1. I can successfully watch a movie without issue local or remote on a web browser.
  2. I can successfully watch a movie on the plex media server itself (which is hosted on an Nvidia Shield).
  3. I have the 20 min restart issue on an Nvidia shield on the same network (in a different room)
  4. My mother has the 20 min restart issue on her Amazon Firestick which is a remote connection.

Tried Already

  1. I have removed the plex app and reinstalled it on the Local Nvidia shield. Did not fix
  2. I have updated the Plex server to the newest version.
  3. I have tried this on multiple movies
  4. I have experienced the exact same issue watching my buddys Plex using the same local Nvidia Shield.
  5. This issue has only recently appeared before it worked fine (potential buggy client update?)
  6. The local shield plays ever other streaming service without issue.

Stats
The local shield that has the issue is wireless.
The server shield is wireless as well
The movie files that are stored are on a NAS that is connected directly into the firewall then communicates via wireless.
The shield is NOT going to sleep as this has been disabled.

Anyone have any ideas?
