I have Plex server setup on Windows 10 machine with almost 6 external HDD linked through USB with all media files,
I have different libraries Movies, Tv Shows, Music, Arabic Movies, and pictures.
My problem is the Movie library keep scanning/updating all the time even when I force stop scanning it will automatically start again after 5 seconds.
I removed the schedule scanning tasks from the settings, I remove all the extra chapter image and thumb image creation (set them to never) but the issue is still there.
could you please help, I attached the logs from the server .
I use media center master to create the folder structure and fetch the information and media to the movies and yes I use kodi sometimes, I appreciate your help and will try to delete the extra files I hope this will fix the issue because I left the pc on for weeks but the scan never stop.
I use MCM to scrapping only the new download folder (not the media folder) the workflow I have is:
MCM monitor download folder , if new media detected, MCM create new folder on my movies folder and move the new movie and get all the corresponding images and subtitle.
Plex only monitor the movie folder.
P.S I have installed EMBY server in the same machine (i did this to compare the features and performance with exact same setup) the Emby work perfect but may be this guy trigger the PLEX, I will stop EMBY for while to check.
one question: how I can read and analyze PLEX log files Its confusing to me, is there tool or guide to the PLEX log files. i use notepad ++ to read the logs.
