Movie Subtitles - never work

Hello,

One thing that really doesn’t work well for me is subtitles.
When i put subtitles one (fetching from internet or using the one that is in my NAS in the same folder), it work for few minutes and then it completely disappear.

This is on the plex app on my PS4 or same experience when i use Plex on my laptop and hool up to the TV via HDMI.

Is it a common experience for everyone, is there a fix to that?
