I got major problems with subtitles and plex. As status is right now plex is almost unusable to me because my srt subtitles won’t work properly.
Mostly the subtitles show for some sentences and then don’t show for some sentences. Sometimes the subs don’t show at all or work as I described and suddenly disappear the rest of the movie.
I even have some movies in my collection where the subs are shown all wrong, so when I’m watching the middle of the movie, the subs relates to the beginning of the movie.
Concerts without subs are the best to watch in plex.
Yesterday I watched the whole Apollo 11 documentary with subs. And It performed flawless.
Afterward I tried another movie But It went wrong.
I’m using SRT subs
I have tried with both the plex app on smart tv and via the plex app on my iPhone. With same lame results.
My server is a synology 218 +
Now I would like to either find a solution on this crappy problem or hope for another plex alternative.
