Moved my server to another computer, following the directions. I have two issues now.
I have three versions of the movie Dune (1984).
Anybody?
There is only one version of Dune to select from that i can see in your video. It doesn’t know about the rest. So it is just rematching what it had before which them makes them both the same again.
If you are trying to Just add “Directors Cut” or something then just manually edit it in. Make sure the lock is orange so it stays that way. I got a new poster and edited for the BW version of this for example
I split them apart then unmatched one version and labeled it manually, but the third version still isn’t showing anywhere.
Is anything else you didn’t add showing up in recently added? or if you filter by duplicates anything else have a copy now that shouldn’t?
The server switch failed so everything is showing as recently added.
When I filter by duplicates, yes. I get this Hobbit movie twice, even though there’s only one video file, and it’s showing a tv series as 13 movies, even though they are also listed properly in the TV Show library.
for The Hobbit choose get info from the menu to look at the two files paths to make sure on of the files is Dune then split apart and edit the one that needs it.
For the Revolution movie the only two ways I can see it doing that is if the folders you have your movies in has a copy of those show files, or in your movie library settings you have it set to look at your tv folder as well.
Ok but what about my third version of Dune just vanishing
You said there you only had one Hobbit file so am guessing it matched to that for some reason. that is why i said to get info for it to check.
Ah. No, it was just combining Unexpected Journey with the 1977 animated movie. I’ve fixed that. Still no third Dune.
As to the 13 movies, yeah. I pointed to “Media” instead of “media\movies”, fixed that too. ty
Oh ■■■■ I found the third Dune, it was called “The Smiths”, I’ve got that fixed too.
Next question, how do I remove this from my movie library without deleting the files?
