I thought about making these separate movies, but they are not listed as such on IMDB, so I wouldn’t get the artwork specific to each. I tried naming them “Garfield Holiday Celebrations (2004) {imdb-tt11524052} - [put sub movie name here]”. But, it only grabs the first. How can I set this up so that I can easily see the sub movie name and select it without having to watch the others?
Now, I have a bit of an issue. I went to agents, moved all of my Local Media Assets to the bottom, Rescanned the library and Refreshed All metadata. The new movies weren’t getting pulled in, Garfield Holiday Celebrations still showed. So, I clicked on Garfield Holiday Celebrations, and it grinded a bit, then it switched to Garfield’s Christmas. I unmatched, then matched and chose the correct art for it. But, the other two Garfield movies aren’t showing up after Rescanning and Refreshing.
Next time you are looking at your Garfield Christmas entry, click the triple dots and see if there is a “Split…” option. If you had them named when put within a folder Plex watches, and THEN renamed it, Plex won’t re-match the newly renamed file. I suspect Plex thought they were all 3 copies of the same file, so you have “Duplicates”.
I didn’t have an option to “Split”, so I went with the Plex Dance. Thankfully, it was less than 3GB of files to move, but the dance did work. Thanks guys!
