My plex on nvidia shield tv have been working good until 2 days ago when the movies and tv shows no long appear on plex media. whereas other video types like music video, kids and home video are still appearing in plex media.
i have cleaned wiped data and reset plex server but still the same, the video types mentioned above are still the ones showing in plex media, i get no media in this folder for movies and tv shows, i was really enjoying using it unit the issue arrives. i have gone through the forums and tried all solutions given there, but its still the same.
Hi, you’re not the only one, it appears, it’s a build error since last pms update (something like a missing python module), in my case i uninstall update on plex media server, after that i could rebuild my libraries, but i lost the ability to see my folders in local network…
Unfortunately we have to wait for an update.
So it’s a know issue already? Hope it will be fixed at the soonest
Many posts talked about it, so i presume plex staff know about it.

Update on my answer, you can sideload the previous version of pms download on plex apk mirror.
Is it just the Plex app that is having the problem? Cos even on Plex media web view, it’s not showing up too
