Is it possible to get plexconnect working with the Movie.app?

Probably not. You have to assume that the Movie app uses secured https traffic as it's contacting the iTunes store. We have no way to hijack that :( Nor would we want to, I don't think Apple would be very pleased :D

If atv3 every gets jail broken, can we assume there will be a plex app that can be installed instead of hijacking Trailers?
I don't suppose programmatically there is anyway to have one choose whether they want to use plex or the 'normal' Trailers when selecting Trailers?

Where can I find plugins? I found a list of unsupported ones. Is there a page for supported plugins as well?
Look in Plex Media Server Channel Directory. To get there click on the "+" sign next to the Channels section of the media manager.
