this happened all of a sudden and now it wont download or reflect any contents once its done the scan. it just show the movie name correctly but poster / move info / sub titles missing

I’m seeing the same behaviour on Version 1.1.3.2700 running on Nas4Free. I do a scan, but details for the movie, posters, backgrounds, trailers etc. aren’t being displayed.
I also see the same going on with Nas4Free running Plex 1.1.3.2700…
I’ve tried multiple reinstalls, manually loading the metadata using the “match” feature within plex web, and renaming files. This is a recent issue that seems to correspond with a recent upgrade. All my files were fine up till about 2 weeks ago, then each new addition didn’t get metadata or see the subtitles (external & named appropriately)…after doing a reinstall to try to fix now all my files have 0 metadata or subtitle access.
For me, everything worked fine until the upgrade to 1.1.3.2700 - the match feature now returns no results.
Anybody else seeing this? Is there a quick solution, or do we have to wait for a new version/patch?

I’ve read elsewhere on the forum that this issue could be for everyone due to the way the search works on the other end of the spectrum (e.g. not Plex, but the databases)…I believe this is affecting everyone. Anyone else want to weigh in? Regardless I think an update to Plex is gonna be needed to fix it.
For all the FreeNAS or FreeBSD users out there, there is an issue with some Jails which have not a local loopback adapter available in them.
Here is a thread which explains how to change the configuration of the Jail to add it.
(Please ask in the thread about details, I have no idea about FreeBSD in general)

‘List of IP addresses and networks that are allowed without auth’
under Settings - Server - Network - ‘Show Advanced’

YES! This fixed it for me also. I ended up just adding the private IP under the list allowed without auth.
I’m still fairly new to using FreeBSD / Nas4Free. Is there a corresponding setting for Nas4Free jails? I use the Brig to run plex.

I’m running latest FreeBSD Plex Media Server version 1.1.3.2700 in a jail on NAS4Free 10.2.0.2 - Prester (revision 1814) with The Brig jail manager. I too noticed the same problem after upgrading to 1.1.3.2700. I finally found this thread and entered the private IP address for my PSM as suggested by OttoKerner under Settings - Server - Network - Show Advanced - List of IP addresses and networks that are allowed without auth. Worked like a champ for me. Thanks Otto!
Well crap…I’m an idiot. I was thinking they were discussing settings in FreenNAS or in the jail manager. I just realized the setting they are talking about is in the web front for Plex Media Server.
