Movies get dropped from collections after metadata changes

When I make changes to media added to my library, that particular media will be removed from the collection it was a part of. Sometimes I’ll get an error saying that Plex is unable to make changes at this time. if I delete the collection entirely and then add each media file again it will work. But, I can’t keep redoing that.
