Movies in Mac Library - cant add to Plex library, only music and photos

I have a Mac with latest OS and have installed Plex to connect to Roku/TV
Plex shows my music and photos libraries but not my movies
My movies are not iTunes purchases so should load
Please help

Under Settings -> Libraries --> Add a new library as “OTHER VIDEOS” ,point it at your movies folder, then scan. See if that works.
