So a bit of a backstory. I have this documentary and after looking it up on The Movie Database I found a very non-finished version. Taking one for the team I updated the data of the movie on TMDB and added a cover.
Plex then finds the movie and matches it correctly, but I only get the old data before I updated it on TMDB and no cover. It’s been about a week now (figured maybe it needed some time?) but there’s no change. Even trying unmatching and matching again and I still only get the old information. Also tried ‘Fix incorrect match’ but I still get the old info.
What am I doing wrong?

The agent also has a local cache, which by the looks of it caches data for 1 month.
Is the same cache delay for TheTVDB? I don’t see my updates after 24h.
I’m having a similar issue. A few days ago I added a new movie to TMDB. It’s being displayed on TMDB, but Plex is still pulling the metadata from a different movie with the same name (different year). I’ve also tried to “fix incorrect match,” but my movie isn’t displayed as an option. Is there any way to correct this?

I have the same problem as the user Delfinen. To this day, is there any solution to this problem? It is very annoying when a new series comes out, I add it to plex and when editing the information in ThemovieDB it is not updated in plex. Normally what I edit in ThemovieDB are translations into Spanish.
