Does Plex Movie Agent have cache refresh period?

My question is indirectly related to a matching problem, but I want to focus on how the matching works and if a new movie or alternate title is added to tmdb, is there a cache timeout period either with tmdb or with plex agent before it can be expected to find a brand new entry or alternate title within tmdb.

Also, wondering if the new Plex Agent uses TMDB and IMDB or not or if I should change the agent to the The Movie DB if I am wanting it to match.

it uses both sources to get info. Sometime info is not one one or the other. but it generally uses stuff from TMDB first if I recall.

As far as when edits/additions are available generally after 24 hours but that is not an exact time. after it fetches updates it take a bit of time to process them and add to our proxys.

Thanks, I will give it a day or so to see if some additions and alternate titles come through on the matching.
