Hello,

Is there’s a way to change a status of a movie to “recently added” (so it could bring it at the home page of plex.

Sometime when i add a movie, Plex discover it and associate it with a wrong one, so i have to separe it and correct the association.

But after that Plex doesnt consider this movie as a new movie. How can i change the status to “recently added” ?

  1. Avoid mismatches by sticking to the naming guide for movies:

  2. Avoid interference from embedded metadata by doing this:
    Go to Settings - Server - Agents - Shows - TheTVDB
    In there, grab the line ‘Local Media Assets’ with your mouse and drag it downwards, so it ends up being at the bottom of the stack of active agents.
    Repeat the same under
    Settings - Server - Agents - Shows - TheMovieDatabase

  1. Resolve mismatches not with ‘Fix Match’ as first measure, but by correcting the file name and the folder organisation. Use ‘Fix Match’ only as a ‘last resort’.

  2. Clear mismatches, which are “stuck” in the Plex database by performing the Plex Dance
