Movies/Shows don't start on Nvidia Shield TV from Alexa

Server Version#: 1.21.1.3830 (Docker on Ubuntu Server)
Player Version#: 8.11.0.22186 (Nvidia Shield TV)

Alexa sync with Plex setup correctly. I am able to select the primary Plex server and primary Plex player.
Alexa is able to start episodes and movies on all other devices but the Nvidia Shield TV.
The Nvidia Shield TV can be setup as the primary player, and like with all other players, Alexa wishes us to “enjoy the movie on Nvidia Shield TV”, except nothing happens…
I’ve tried different settings on the plex player on the Shield TV without success.
All other players worked out of the box.

What’s the magic trick making it work on the Shield TV?
That’s kind of the player that would take benefit from the voice controls…

Note: I am NOT running the Plex Server on the Shield TV at all, so it should just be like any other Android TV player.

Interestingly, I noticed that when I have the screensaver running (pictures slideshow) and I ask Alexa to ask Plex to play something, it stops the screensaver (and goes back to the page it was before).
So it seems to be receiving some signal, but just not playing anything on the Shield TV (unlike all other devices on the same network that work flawlessly from the same Echo).

Is Alexa working for anyone at all? I’ve chimed in on a couple threads, and I don’t think the Plex team has responded or investigated yet. : ( I really miss Alexa integration.

Confirmed the same with my network just now. My Shield does not work with Alexa, but my iPhone does fine.

Plex Team? Threads been going for a while.

Sounds similar to Plex Alexa skill says playing but will not play to any player. I’m going to close this one so we can concentrate on the other.
