Hiding items in a collection not working?

I have added some movies to a collection, and It’s showing up in the “Collections” tab in the Movie library. But even though “Hide items which are in collections” is turned on in the Library settings, each individual movie is listed in the Library view - and the collection itself is not listed in the Library view, only on the Collections tab.

Am I doing something wrong? I don’t want all of the movies to clutter the Library tab, only the collection itself (which is not there)

How are your movies sorted or filtered in the main library view?

When enabled, these “inline collections” will only appear when the library is filtered by ALL and sorted by Title/Name.

That was it, I had it set to “Date added”. Thanks.
