I bought a new WD PR4100 to replace one that was having issues. At the same time, I am going to increase the drive space. When I originally set up the NAS, I moved my install from a PC to the PR4100, after finding a step by step process online. I am not finding one to swap form the NAS to another. Has anybody seen one?
There’s a support article describing the procedure of migrating your PMS within the same technology stack (e.g. macOS -> macOS). In theory this should also work for your NAS… however from what I remember, the WD MyCloud NAS are a bit special.
