I’m moving from an Ubuntu 20.04 setup to Unraid using the Linuxserver PMS (v 1.21.4.4079).
I’ve got the Docker running but what files do I need to copy from my Ubuntu (non-Docker) version to ensure that watch status, custom metadata etc are copied across? Will it even work if the file paths are different to how they were in Ubuntu?

It’s geared primarily toward migrating to the same type of system, e.g. Windows to Windows. However, the process can be used to migrate between non-like systems. And you’ll have an easier time because Plex on Docker is very similar to Plex on native Ubuntu/Debian. For instance the settings file format is the same.
When after you move the data, ensure that you add the new library locations to your libraries and scan before removing the old locations. That point is outlined in the document, but it bears mentioning here.
