Moving to new setup used to be easier?! first redo after 10 years of plex

hey everyone! can anyone recommend link to guide or just tell me how i restore libraries on new setup?

  1. installed plex on same as old location (non c drive)
  2. pointed to backups via scheduled tasks G:\plex server\Plex Media Server\Plug-in Support\Databases
  3. all hard drive paths matches old drive names

yet home is empty :frowning: haven’ty done fixes in years lol
can anyone help?

Best practice is the procedure described in this support article – not just restoring the database (which will miss significant other information).

done all that mate… it used to be manual change where plex is stored etc … regedit/backups paths all good… not sure what else i can do?

copied over DBs … all done :slight_smile: cheers
