and saw this was added 

 

"Discover" added to Settings page - for manual re-PlexGDM.

 

so i tested it and i get "discovered 2 servers" in my settings page now 

but can't chose between them ...  Believe me i tried every button on the remote :P

 

so or this is going to be a way to manually choose a server ?

or is this something myplex needs?

or is adding myplex off the roadmap as undoable?

 

either if fine i guess would prefer myplex though with multiuser in mind.....

 

if you want me to test something since i have 2 servers setup and a third if i enable my laptop server... then let me know .. don't mind testing....

Going to implement Multi-PMS support. In software, this was kind of a pre-requisite...

Multi-PMS support added - kind of. Testing was more on the theoretical side, ie. extremely limited as I have just one machine.

But - hey - there are a lot of testers out there... so guys, here it is, the call for Multi-PMS-Feature-Testing! Please provide logs and detailed description if something fails.

it is working

and on the ATV i was able to switch between the 3 servers in the settings page ....

works great ....

servers are recognized by their plex name in the settings page :)

only little issue i saw was that my laptopplex server is showing same thumbs as my movie plex server but these movies are not on my laptop... the libraries have the same name though ... 

guess you will need to add the plexserver name + library name to your libraries in plexconnect too .... 

if you need pics let me know... 

guess i can throw xbmc from my atv now :) ... had memory issues with it running large mysql queries anyway ...

PlexGDM (short for Good Day Mate) basically is the Plex version of Bonjour. With PlexGDM enabled, the PMSs identify themselves to the client. Without there will only be one server available - the one specified in Settings.cfg.
