I read through the methods of naming Seasons and episodes, but can’t seem to find the answer on this. On some cartoons shows, in a single episode you’ll get several shows.
For example:
Season 1 Episode 2 - Show 1
Season 1 Episode 2 - Show 2
Season 1 Episode 2 - Show 3
I started to label them like this based on this Article
/TV Shows
/Heroes
/Season 01
Heroes - S01E02 - Show1.avi
Heroes - S01E02 - Show2.avi
Heroes - S01E02 - Show3.avi
Is this correct?
You are not using the correct Spit_Name
, ShowX is not a valid one
The split parts must be nested inside their own folder, named as usual for the show. Name the files as follows:
/TV Shows/ShowName/Season XX/ShowName - sXXeYY - Split_Name.ext
Where Split_Name is:
discX
diskX
dvdX
partX
ptX```
...and X is the part number (cd1, cd2, etc.).
```/TV Shows
/Heroes
/Season 01
Heroes - s01e01 - pt1.avi
Heroes - s01e01 - pt2.avi
Heroes - s01e02.avi```
I have the opposite problem, where all of my kids shows on PBS are two videos within a single recording. What I am calling Episode 01, they are calling Episode 01 and 02. It is so annoying. I basically have to manually order them.
It seems a lot of these shows also originate in the UK, the seasons #s are different as well on most of them. I wish the information from how the US and PBS distribute would be recorded somewhere and listed as an option since I record OTA and add to Plex.
In that case you would label them S01E01-E02, or you could get a video splitting app that will split the video for you.
