Multiple country setup

Server Version#: 1.19.5.2916
Player Version#:
Tuner Make/Model: octopus DVB-S/S2 (sat stream)
Guide/Lineup name:
Using XMLTV?: no
Channel number/Name:

Since I am using 3 different satellites, I would like to have the chance to allocate more than one country. In my case I have 19.2E, 13 E and 28.2 E. Therefore I have to allocate channels from all over Europe. There should be an option to choose Europe and all channels would be avail for allocation.
Furthermore an alphabetical order of the channels in the list would improve manual allocation of channels.

I am having a similar experience.

At the moment I am trying to use Saorview (Ireland) and Freesat (UK) - Both are available within Plex but if I set up Freesat first I am stuck being unable to assign the EPG to the Saorview channels, and vice-versa.

Is there a way to assign a guide per tuner?

As far as I know, DVB-S is not officially supported. So you probably need to fiddle with third party software.

Would be nice if plex allowed setting up separate DVRs without a lot of hassle. There is a workaround if you delete the dvrs entirely. Open separate web browsers (separate incognito mode windows should work too), then in each one setup a DVR, but start each one before finishing any of them. Then you can get multiple DVRs with separate EPG data.

Top DVR is using EPG provided by Plex. Bottom one is using EPG from an XML file.

The disadvantage is it shows two Live TV libraries in the sidebar and they can’t be renamed.

You could also use a software to build a custom combined XML. I’m using WebGrab+Plus. Unfortunately if you use the latest version it’s no longer free (3.0 or below is free as far as I know).
