Multiple Editions/Cuts of the Same Film

The ability to merge multiple versions of a movie. For example, if I want to have both the Theatrical Cut and the Director’s cut. Currently Plex on shows differentiate’s the different version by resolution type (ie. 720p, 1080p, 4K).

I’d like to be able to have multiple editions/Cuts of the same film without having to have individual entries for each type.

This is even the default behaviour in Plex.
Maybe you didn’t refresh the metadata of your library, after you converted it to use the new Plex Movie agent?
Refresh Metadata of both instances of this movie now.
If they are still not fused together after that, use “Merge”. https://support.plex.tv/articles/201018248-merge-or-split-items/
