I wonder, how Plex will behave in this scenario:
Movies:
folder : MovieName (1999) and the fhe files inside:
moviename (1999) - part1
moviename (1999) - part2
moviename (1999) - 2160p
Will plex client app show 2 versions of the movie (1080p & 2160p) or 3 files separately?
It’ll combine the Part1\Part2 into one reference and leave the 4k as another version available to play in the same listing.

Versions:
Generally, the clients will automatically pick the “best” version to playback in relation to quality but it’s not always great at guessing… but it’s usually not bad. If there’s a 4k and a 1080p and you try to playback on a 1080p TV it’ll pick the 1080p rather than try to transcode the 4k… usually.
