I have 2 antennas and 2 HDHomerun tuners. My antennas are pointed in different directions to pickup different stations. There is some overlap of stations between the 2 tuners.
For sake of discussion let’s say we are talking about channel 9.1. This channel can be picked up by tuner 1, but it is very spotty. It comes in solid on tuner 2. My configuration is to block this channel on tuner 1 and leave it open on tuner 2 (I do this in the HDHomerun configuration app). I have done this on both tuners - the channels I want on each tuner are open and blocked on the other tuner.
On my Plex configuration all of the blocked channels from tuner 1 show up in the scan list so I have removed the check mark to turn them off (hopefully, I think). Oddly, only the channels that I have not blocked from tuner 2 show up in the list.
So here is my problem - sometimes the server will tune channel 9.1 on tuner 1 (even though it is blocked on the tuner). When this happens the recording is usually garbage. How do I prevent the server from tuning channels on tuner 1 that I don’t want it to use and force it to tune them on tuner 2?
