I have two Hdhomeruns in two areas of my house. I x’d out channels on each tuner on the Hdhomeruns that don’t come in well. Plex keeps trying to tune into the x’d out channel. I see no settings in Plex to prioritize the tuner. The Hdhomerun app works fine.
Does this mean that you went into the web interface for the HD Homerun tuner, clicked on “Channel Lineup”, and then x’ed out channels? If so, Plex doesn’t use this channel list.
What you need to do is to go into Plex Web (e.g. https://app.plex.tv/) as your administrator account, then click on the wrench icon in the upper right (which is for settings), then on the left scroll down to the “Manage” section and click on “Live TV & DVR”. Then for each tuner click on the link for the number of channels enabled. For example, here is mine (I only have one tuner):
You would click on “46 enabled” in this example. That will take you to the screen where you can uncheck channels that you don’t want Plex to be able to tune. You can see that I only have 46 of a possible 109 channels enabled in my Plex because of weak stations and duplicate content on different broadcast stations.
